A BODYBUILDER'S DIARY: 12 WEEKS OUT
BY KRISTYN LIA
So here I am, 12 weeks out from the Arnold Qualifier and 13 weeks out from the Arnold Classic 2018. I have a lot of energy this week, it's great! My mind is like a wild fire and I am accomplishing a lot at work, in the gym and at home. Ultimately, I am feeling rather uplifted and capable of achieving anything.
Everyday I can see new lines and veins slowly appearing on my rig…. Yes! I am finally at the fun part... the unveiling.
I must admit I am a bit daunted… I have TOUGH competition to beat… myself! My last competing package was just so ridiculously insane that I am a bit worried going up against that girl... I do feel a bit of pressure... there is not much more I can do to beat the conditioning I achieved. It's going to come down to mass gain and stage presentation. I don’t care about my placing as long as I am happy with my final form.
I’ve already nutted out my routine for the day, incorporating poses that show off my best features and working hard on my transitions. This might have to change closer to the day depending on what my body is looking like.
Physically I feel strong even invincible, which I am sure has been bought about by the slight delirium of the diet. I am starting to get periods where I feel extremely hungry, but find that I am feeling full a lot easier and have had to split my post workout meal in two sections. I am now the animal on the train eating steak and sweet potato at 8.30pm, sporting unruly hair and my gym attire covered in chalk.

When you got to eat, you got to eat. This is how I live and what I do every single day until that day I am perfectly manicured and displaying my physique on stage in an expensive crystal bikini.
