HOW DID YOU QUALIFY FOR THE TEAM - WHO DID YOU BEAT ? Had 3 fights first was against Tasmania (Damian Macral) second against Victoria (Jack Denahay) third and final against Tasmania again and 2014 Commonwealth Games rep (Nick Cooney)

YEARS EXPERIENCE AS A BOXER: started when I was 9 so 11 years old. 

WHO GOT YOU INTO BOXING AND WHY?: I got myself into it to impress my big brothers

 

ODD SPORTING FACT ABOUT YOU (OTHER SPORTING INTERESTS OR AWARDS?): Love running. Ran my own personal marathon in December of 2016

WHAT WOULD YOU BE DOING IF NOT BOXING: Probably doing what most of my friends that I grew up with are doing and living for the weekend 

WHAT’S MOST IMPORTANT TO YOU: Winning Gold at the commonwealth and Olympic Games and continue loving what I’m doing and having fun.

THE MOST MEMORABLE WIN YOU EVER HAD: Definitely my first Australian title. I heard many rumours going into that event that I was the easiest in the division and I went on to win it.

WHAT IS IT YOU WANT TO ACHIEVE IN THE SPORT: 2020 Olympic Gold be Australia’s first to win a gold medal.

FINISH THE SENTENCE: “If I win gold, I will… when I win gold, I will enjoy some lost time with loved ones and get straight back to work after that for Tokyo 2020.
